Boxwise participants come through a mixture of recruitment, referral and enquiries.
We partner with local organisations and government agencies such as social workers, police youth offending teams, local authorities, mental health support workers and schools.
BoxWise began with five venues across London in 2019. Since then, we have expanded across the UK, with flagship venues across the UK in Birmingham, Manchester, Telford, Newark Middlesbrough, and Telford among others.
As we move into 2026, BoxWise remains rooted in the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to build confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose. What began as a simple idea using boxing as a tool for positive change has grown into a nationally delivered programme supporting young people in some of the UK’s most challenging communities.
Over the coming year, our focus is clear: deepening impact, strengthening quality, and ensuring sustainability as we continue to scale. We will invest further in our coaches, our curriculum, and our partnerships, while expanding inclusive provision for young people with additional needs and those at risk of exclusion.
Above all, we remain committed to doing this work with integrity, evidence, and ambition, measuring what matters, listening to the young people we serve, and continually raising the standard of what sport-led youth development can achieve.
