BoxWise has previously launched and delivered our 10-week programme at a number of international boxing clubs.
Each international programme was tailored to the needs of the local communities, with programmes for young women in South Africa and Egypt and adaptive disability sessions in Brazil, alongside Under 18 programmes in Ireland, Uganda and Tanzania.
REFUGEE
In order to support the refugee community in the UK following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, BoxWise created a course specifically for young Ukrainians. The course builds on the core foundations of our programme and provides a safe space for these young people to channel their energies, improve their language skills, and meet other young refugees who have been through the same hugely challenging time.
VETERANS
BoxWise is proud to have designed a tailored 10-week programme for military veterans to support their transition back to civilian life after service. The course includes a core focus on mental wellbeing and building community amongst the veterans it supports.
WOMENS
BoxWise’s 10-week, women’s only programme is aimed at women who have survived domestic violence or abuse. The course is focused on empowerment, building confidence and community in a safe space for the women who attend.
BoxWise's women only sessions have taken place at gyms across the UK, such as in Telford and Manchester, and internationally in South Africa and Egypt.
As we move into 2026, BoxWise remains rooted in the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to build confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose. What began as a simple idea using boxing as a tool for positive change has grown into a nationally delivered programme supporting young people in some of the UK’s most challenging communities.
Over the coming year, our focus is clear: deepening impact, strengthening quality, and ensuring sustainability as we continue to scale. We will invest further in our coaches, our curriculum, and our partnerships, while expanding inclusive provision for young people with additional needs and those at risk of exclusion.
Above all, we remain committed to doing this work with integrity, evidence, and ambition, measuring what matters, listening to the young people we serve, and continually raising the standard of what sport-led youth development can achieve.
