Why Donate Cryptocurrency?
Donating cryptocurrency is one of the most tax-efficient ways to support BoxWise. Cryptocurrency donations are non-taxable events, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct the donation on your taxes. This makes Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies excellent options for supporting your favourite cause.
How to Donate Crypto
When you donate cryptocurrency to BoxWise, your donation is immediately converted, ensuring that all contributions are effectively utilized. Please note that all donations are non-refundable. To ensure your donation is processed correctly, only send currencies listed on our widget. Unsupported currencies, including unsupported ERC-20s, ERC-721s, and BEP20s, will be lost.
